“Are You Feeling It?” – Essex Sexual Health Embraces Sexual Health Week with Month-Long Initiative

This September, we are proud to announce our involvement in this year’s national Sexual Health Week (Monday 9 to Sunday 15 September).

Essex Sexual Health Service is commissioned by Essex County Council and delivered by Provide Community in partnership with its Outreach Team.

Themed “Are You Feeling It?”, the national campaign will promote sexual health awareness, mental wellbeing in relationships and education throughout the week and we will continue the promotion throughout the month of September.

Sexual Health Week will feature an array of informative events and resources aimed at promoting well-being and safe practices. We will offer access to workshops, confidential testing, and expert consultations throughout the week. To see all events and locations the team will be at, please click here.

Susan Luty, Sexual Health System Lead, Essex Sexual Health Service, said: “We are excited to mark Sexual Health Week with impactful activities and essential health resources. Attending and hosting several events enhances our capability to reach a wider audience and provide vital information that supports the sexual health and overall well-being of our community.”

We encourage all residents of Essex to take advantage of this important week. Join us to learn more, engage with health professionals, and take proactive steps toward a healthier future.
