Govroam Service Information

Provide Community is privileged to host Govroam network services at our sites, delivering seamless roaming internet access for public sector organisational staff to enhance collaborative working. Govroam is a national WiFi roaming service that provides internet access to public sector staff across the UK. You can log in to the ‘Govroam’ wireless network using your organisational credentials at Provide Community sites to gain access to the internet.

To use Govroam services at Provide Community sites, you must first read and understand our Govroam Acceptable Use Policy.

Other useful Information:

The company JISC provides national back-end infrastructure services to facilitate Govroam deployment. Thurrock Council is the authorised federated Govroam service provider for the Essex region. Provide Community is working with both regional and national Govroam infrastructure service providers to facilitate this service to you.
