Living with HIV can be challenging, but you don’t have to face it alone. As part of Provide Community, under the Essex Sexual Health Service we provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals living with HIV in Essex. Our mission is to empower, educate, and support those affected by HIV, promoting well-being and a positive outlook on life through compassionate and comprehensive support.

Peer Support Groups

Connect with others who understand what you’re going through in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Share experiences, tips, and support each other on your journey. We organise occasional workshops, online groups and connector events to help build connections and networks reducing isolation.

Managing your HIV

Stay informed with the latest information about HIV, treatment options, and healthy living. Access partner services to help you manage your condition and other related health issues when living with HIV and improve your quality of life.

Advice and advocacy

Expert advice on welfare benefits and supporting application processes, Housing, Immigration signposting, stigma and discrimination, help with onward referrals to specialised services.

One-on-One Support

Sometimes you just need someone to talk to. Our experienced practitioners are here to listen, provide guidance, and offer personalised support for your needs.
