Are you interested in giving feedback on your local sexual health offer?
We’re looking for people who want to be involved in service user involvement opportunities. This could range from completing an online survey to joining a focus group.
We want to ensure we are offering a service that is fully inclusive to all, using language, tones and images that are relatable and appropriate. To achieve this, we need your help!
It could be as simple as filling out a quick online survey, to participating in a group session providing feedback on the current chosen topic – for example, giving your views on the new Essex Sexual Health Service website.
This is a great opportunity to be involved in something you feel passionate about and to get involved in your local community, helping to shape your local sexual health service. You could also have the opportunity to meet likeminded people and enhance your C.V.
There could also be opportunity further down the line to become a volunteer for us, or to become a sexual health champion, advocating in your community.
Drinks and snacks are provided at face to face sessions.
Please note this is not a volunteering opportunity, and opportunities for involvement are as and when they come up.
We’re looking for representation from all of the different communities we serve: people of different backgrounds and life experiences. All views are important to us.
This can be anyone living in the Essex area, aged 18 years old and above (we hold separate sessions for those under 18 due to parental consent).
We’ll use the details you provide on the form to decide which topics would be appropriate for us to approach you about. For example, one time we might only need the views of young people, whereas other times we could want to hear the views of parents and carers.
All you have to do is complete the expression of interest form below. We’ll store your name on our database and contact you when an opportunity becomes available.
There is no obligation to join in on any of our events, and if you decide you no longer want to be involved, you can just ask for your details to be removed from our system by emailing us at provide.eshsoutreachteam@nhs.net
